Two Month Recap: Feist Rules

Anjaneyasana - Lunge
The last time I logged into Soul & Pastry to write, I was about to embark on a ten day journey of yoga teacher training in Pennsylvania.  Now I'm a week away from teaching my own yoga class.  Hardly seems possible...
Mother's Day Strawberry Shortcake (rice whip and gluten free roll)

So many holidays have happened in the past two months-I missed Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Father's Day-so many opportunities for good recipes.  (Okay, in all fairness I've never actively celebrated Flag Day).
Dad
Mom
I was lucky enough to make cupcakes for my friend Sam's wedding.  She and Bryan looked gorgeous on their wedding day-I think the cupcakes looked quite sweet.
Upon my return home from Pennsylvania, I immediately started a long-term sub position teaching 6th grade science-here's the highlight:
"Stop saying your [you're!!!] mean you are not! You are awesome!" I love many things about this note.
Ohhhh, and Feist rules:
Feist at the House of Blues, Boston May 7th

That's it for my whirlwind summary of the past two months, recipes to follow.

P.S. Read If I Stay and Where She Went by Gayle Forman.  And start drinking Soy Mocha Coconut Frappuccinos.

One last thing:
I PUT TEQUILA IN CUPCAKES AND IT WAS AMAZING!

  1. Your margarita cupcakes look so much better than mine! I also just nominated you for a Liebster Award.
